I added some spray foam to fill in some of the gaps. Now they look like dessert!!

 

But they definitely don't taste like dessert, and the foam bits get EVERYWHERE. Most of the bulk has to come off to achieve the right look. I'm going to be knee deep in the stuff before I'm finished...
But it's worth it. They really look cool once they're all filed down.
The mostly finished legs mounted on the spine. They still need a bit of sanding, but I'm closing in.
