My friend Reagan came all the way up from Virginia to help me paint and wallpaper. It must have been a shock to her system--we were having record breaking low temperatures. But she seemed to acclimate all right, and we got a whole lot of work done. Many many thanks to her for all her help and expertise. |

It was very exciting to install the trim--the room finally started to look finished. |

The colors are very warm and rich, and the border really finishes things nicely. It's driving me nuts to wait on doing the curtains and stuff, but I can just see me spending the money on nice velvet, only to have it a totally different shade from the table. I'll be good. |
