Foyer

Our foyer is cleverly set up to be the entrance both from the outside, and the garage. Craig and I liked the idea of the entrance being the same no matter where you enter from. This photo is taken from the steps leading down to the mud room. The large object on the left is a cue rack that belongs in the billiards room. (I told it that, but it wouldn't leave.) |

I finally got to finish painting all the hallways. There doesn't seem to be much difference between these two photos, but that's only because all the scuffs and stains don't really show in the top photo. It was a mess, and this is definitely an improvement, take my word for it. The paint adds a warmth to the room that it lacked before. It's much nicer in person. |

Changed things around a bit down here. I wanted to make the hall a bit more elegant, but I wasn't really sure what to do. I received a cool gryphon statue for Christmas and in the end I bought him a new table, curtains, candles, and a dried grass arrangement. He's really picky. |
