Blasting has now been completed. It only took an extra month to get that taken care of. This is the view from the edge of the foundation hole. As you can see, the term "hole" is relative. It was a nice neat dome of rock at the bottom of a six foot pit, then they blew it up and it became a towering mountain of loose boulders. These then had to be excavated all over again. Fortunately, Craig and I discovered a rare oil, diamond and plutonium deposit next to a forgotten gold mine which coincidentally were all located directly underneath the ledge. That, coupled with our popular decorative boulder business makes these extra expenses only a minor inconvenience. See how I've learned to lie to myself... |

Craig is standing on the wall of what will be our garage. Behind him are the outlines of the lower basement. | |
Lo and behold, there is something other than rocks in the pit that is to become Enslin Manor. How refreshing! YIPPEEEEEEE!!!
